❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What is the weight capacity of each rack tier?
A: Each tier is engineered to support up to 600 lbs per level, depending on tray or board compatibility.
Q: Are these racks compatible with my existing walk-in cooler?
A: Yes. The 3TEL rack is designed to fit most standard mortuary coolers. We also offer custom sizes for tight or unusually shaped cooler interiors.
Q: What’s the difference between end loading and side loading racks?
A: End loading allows cadavers to be loaded from the narrow end of the rack, while side loading allows access from the wider side. Both offer full roller functionality—your choice depends on your facility layout.
Q: Do the racks come assembled?
A: Standard racks are shipped fully welded and preassembled. If shipping constraints require a smaller footprint, we offer a knock-down version (additional charge) that can be assembled on-site.
Q: Can the roller bars be replaced or adjusted?
A: Yes, our roller bars are replaceable and modular, making maintenance easy and affordable.
Q: Do you provide installation services?
A: Installation is simple and often done in-house by our clients, but we do offer white glove delivery and setup upon request.

4. Warranty Information
(This section remains unchanged)
5. Return Policy (Non-Cooler Items Only)
This return policy applies ONLY to items that are not coolers or custom-built equipment.
-
5.1. Responsibility for Shipping Costs: For all eligible returns, the customer is solely responsible for all shipping costs. This includes the cost of the original shipment from our facility to you (even if a "free shipping" promotion was applied) and the cost of the return shipment back to our facility. These costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund issued.
-
5.2. Eligibility: American Mortuary Coolers offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on eligible items. To qualify, the item(s) must NOT have been USED or OPENED, and must be in "like-new," resalable condition in the original packaging when returned to our facility.
-
5.3. Return Process: To return an item, you must first contact our support team at 1-888-792-9315 to receive a return authorization code (RA). Returns sent without an RA code will not be accepted.
-
5.4. Refund Calculation: All shipping costs for the returned item(s) are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Once the item is received and inspected for damages, we will calculate the refund. The refund amount is the original purchase price, LESS the following:
-
The actual shipping cost we incurred to send the item to you (this applies even to "free shipping" promotions; a copy of the freight invoice will be provided).
-
A restocking fee of $50 or 25% of the purchase price, whichever is greater.
-
A 3% credit card processing fee.
-
The cost of any damages incurred to the returned item(s), if applicable.
-
Refunds will be mailed to the buyer in the form of a check.
-
Example: A buyer paid $850 for an item. Our cost to ship the item was $100. The item was returned with no damages. The refund would be $537.50. Calculation: $850 (Original Price) - $100 (Our Shipping Cost) - $212.50 (25% Restocking Fee) = $537.50.
-
5.5. Exclusions: The 30-day money-back guarantee is NOT offered for:
-
Items purchased at a reduced or sale price.
-
Bulk orders (defined as 4 or more individual items).
-
Any used or opened items.
-
Any items built to a unique specification per the buyer's instruction (custom orders).
